Senior Technical Associate, Senior System Engineer


Job Description:

1-4 years IT experience in Mainframe technologies in Production Support.
Experience with remote support teams, ideally within financial services in high volume/flow applications and for others, 1+ experience required in above areas.
Demonstrable experience in supporting mainframe environments; COBOL, VMS, JCL, Unix experience required or UNIX/Tuxedo.
Experience also ideally within Cards or mainframe MIS and reporting.
Experience in Card Service or in Retail Banking platforms (preferred).

Candidate Profile:

• Work on different tools like Data Express for distribution and collection of files from UNIX servers, STE (Secure transport) for secure transmission of files using SSL, AS2 and various different protocols.
• Monitoring jobs in control-M and on mainframes ensuring there completion on time.
• Supporting inbound calls from external customers and resolving there issues within SLA.
• Constant monitoring of errors on View Point on Tandem and cutting tickets on peregrine and troubleshooting problem.
• Escalating the problem to oncall Engineering and implementation team immediately to reduce the outage time.
• Resolving failure of Batch jobs on mainframe / UNIX/ Tuxedo/ eCommerce.
